Bob Ross Landscape Oil Painting Classes

Make and Take Classes - No Experience Needed !
Take home a land or sea scape painting suitable for framing !  I teach using a step by step, watch and repeat format.  No experience needed !  Watch the instructor doing each step and explaining the techniques to be learned.  Then you do it ! Your instructor coaches and assists.





Class formats to choose from:
1) Saturday Open Classes:
Open to individuals, friends and families, etc. these are scheduled for every other Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. 
 
2)  Mid-week Private Classes:  
Private classes for individuals, couples, and small groups.  Maximum group of 8.  Scheduled only on the weekdays. Available during the summer break. Contact me to coordinate a time, date and duration of the class.
These are great to get 1:1 detailed training, for a friends time-out together, date night or for a team building session !
In a couples class, you work together to create 2 "bookend paintings" of the same scene.   Lots of fun!

Location:

159 Crestridge Drive, Vernon, CT, 06066.  All classes occur at my home

studio in my finished basement.  You must be able to access stairs

safely. Rest room and refrigerator available. See attached map >.

How to Reserve a Spot:

Reservations are REQURED for all classes by going to the Upcoming Classes section and hitting the RSVP button for the class desired.  You can also email me at bweneck1@gmail.com or call me at 860-970-9704. 

I will return your contact to acknowledge that your space is reserved.

Class Duration and Cost:

You can pay by cash, check, Venmo, or credit card at the start of class.

Per person fees:

4 hours           $ 70                 $ 50                   Normal class, 16x20 canvas

3 hours           $ 60                 $ 40

2 hours           $ 50                 $ 30                   12 x 16 canvas

 

Gift certificates are available.

What to bring:

1) A stretched canvas.  Usually a white 16x20 economy double primed canvas unless otherwise directed.   These can be found at stores such as Micheals or Hobby Lobby.

2) Roll of paper towels and baby wipes.

3) Snack if desired

4) Old clothes that are ok getting paint on them.

5) All of your questions and a positive "can-do" attitude.   And a smile!  ...

​Brushes, paints, mediums, and easels will be provided.

Oil Painting Restrictions:

Minimum age is 14 due to solvents being used and the duration of the class.  Under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Bob Ross Kids Classes using Acrylics are available for those under 14.
