Make and Take Classes - No Experience Needed !
At the end of the class, take home a land or sea scape painting suitable for framing! This is a Step by Step, watch and repeat format. Observe the instructor doing and explaining the techniques to be learned. Then you do it! Your instructor coaches and assists.

1) Open Classes:

Open to individuals, friends, families, clubs, groups, etc. Scheduled every other Saturday from 10 to 2 pm (4 hours). Clubs and groups are restricted to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Contact me to coordinate a class or reserve a space !

2) Couples Classes:

Open to one or more couples and restricted to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Couples work together to complete bookend paintings of the same scene. Contact me to coordinate a class.

3) Individual Private Classes:

Open by special request to individuals and restricted to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Contact me to coordinate a class.

Open Group Class

Adult Fee Ages 14-16 Fee Canvas Size

4 hours - $ 65.00 $ 50.00 16 x 20

3 hours - $ 55.00 $ 40.00

2 hours - $ 45.00 $ 30.00 12 x 16

Couples classes are same price. Private Individual classes are $10 additional.

Check your email if there is inclement weather. Cancellations will be made by the instructor via phone or email as soon as practical to those who reserve a space.

All painting supplies except the canvas will be provided ...

What you should bring:

All your questions
A positive “can do” attitude
Stretched canvas, white double primed 16"x 20", student grade, (found at local art stores such as Micheals and Hobby Lobby) unless otherwise mentioned.
Roll of Paper Towels and Baby Wipes
Snack or Bag Lunch
Old clothes that are ok getting paint on them

Restrictions:

Minimum age is 14 years old due to solvents being used and the duration of the class. Under 16 year old students must be accompanied in class by a parent.
If my home studio doesn't work for you, you can supply a location if it is within 120 miles of Vernon CT. Any rent must be covered by yourself. Travel cost is $1 per mile round trip. Requires a 3 hour class minimum.
